I am so happy to announce that I have been busy working on a project! I am recording a video course for The Grow Network on how to raise backyard rabbits. It feels so good to be doing something that I love and getting paid for it! I know this video will give others the confidence to grow their own food and The Grow Network has a much larger audience than I do. So it will reach more people.
If you haven’t heard of The Grow Network then you are missing out. Marjory Wildcraft is the inspiration behind the whole gardening, homesteading, herbal medicine movement. Although she shows a lot of what she does on her homestead, she specializes in bringing people together to share their knowledge. What this means for my homestead is that I have been crazy busy trying to keep up with filming this course(on some of the hottest days of the year!) loving kids, training for a 28 mile hiking trip with my Knight in Baseball Cap & Jeans, growing food, hiving bees, chasing chickens and rabbits. Whew! That’s a lot, but I asked Jesus for abundant life! So glad He answered my prayer in ways I NEVER would have expected! What this means to you is; I have had to back off making videos for my you tube channel and sharing my story here on my site.
We did manage to squeeze in a few videos though:
Here are links to our honey harvest: https://youtu.be/3-39mzIFz3A
Getting my new chicks to clean up my Summer Garden: https://youtu.be/xMRl9czGuPo
Yikes! Hawk attack in the front yard garden: https://youtu.be/E0VncERdflc
We will be back to sharing our story and planing our Fall garden in a few weeks!
Until then Blessing on your homestead. Hope everyone in Texas makes it through the heat!, Dash
How wonderful, Dash!! What a blessing and how exciting that you are sharing your knowledge with others. What a great opportunity!
That’s awesome! Congratulations! I was worried that the predator that was in your area recently was causing you trouble.
You are amazing!
Thank you, Papa Hunter. You always make my day with your support! We love you!
