It’s bee keeping and swarm season again here in Dallas Texas! Yoo hoo! Let the fun begin!

It finally got warm enough to move the little group of gals in our Nuc(small 5 frame box of bees) to their beautiful new top bar hive. We had no idea what we would find after a long Winter. As we suspected they were packed in there tight. They had filled that box to capacity! Good thing we moved them, before they decided to find a roomier place to reside.

The move went great and my Wild One captured it all on film for us. One frame broke off and fell into the nuc box. Watch till the end and see how we wired that brood comb(baby bees) to the top bars. Enjoy!

Happy bee keeping, Dash!
