I don’t have one organizing bone in my body, but thank goodness I have friends that do. My best friend is helping me get my seeds all in order this year!

See the system I am using. Also find out the seed companies I like best and the two that I plan on trying new this year.

Don’t miss your own free printable seed packet so you can be all prepared to store the seeds you collect from your garden this Spring! (link under video)

Get your printable seed packet here:https://bloomwhereyourplanted.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/Seed-Packet-Envs.pdf

Have fun playing with seeds and dreaming about Spring!

The links to the seed companies I mentioned in the video are in the video description when you view it on youtube.

Let me know what your favorite seed companies are in the comments!

Please leave a comment. I love hearing from ya’ll.

My husband loves Johnny’s Select Seeds and I love Territorial. I’ve been really pleased with Baker Creek, too, though their selection is much more limited. I’ve just been “cataloging” my seeds as well! Taking inventory of what we have, how much we have left, and what year they were purchased for so we know what we need to reorder. I feel like winter just finally arrived so I’m in no rush for it to go away, but I am excited for springtime and planting!

The story of the squirrel & 2 boys with BB guns was one of the best stories I’ve read on a blog. It’s right up there along with stories from Karianne at Thistlewood Farms! Priceless! I’m still smiling! Great job!

Yay! I love vlogs! I like the way that is organized! Thanks for sharing.

Saw you on the Simple Homestead Hop…fun video!

I got a used CD binder at our local thrift store to do something similar to save and organize my seeds. It took a long time to find a CD holder so I started with a small photo album. It worked okay but didn’t have enough space between the pages for full seed packs. – Margy

    Thank you, Linda
Never a dull moment here. I am so glad you liked it. I stopped doing stories on the blog(went to video) because people’s attention spans seem less and less these days. I decided to save them for a book & do videos instead. Good to know someone still appreciates a good story. Blessings, Dash

Thanks, I will look up Johnny’s Select Seeds, Good to know Territorial is good too. I know I am enjoying the Winter break too to dream and catch up on projects. Plus I am learning to knit! Still excited about Spring though! Blessings, Dash

  8. Spring Lake Homestead

    Have fun learning to knit!
Johnny’s has some heirloom and organic, but they have a lot of other stuff too, but not like some of the bigger companies (if that makes sense). Their catalog is extremely comprehensive, which is what my husband likes so much.

Love Baker Creek, Last year we grew “Brad Atomic Tomatoes” My husband really liked them. We are at 8300 elevation so I need to get the quick make greenhouse up a plants out soon as weather allows
